Etruscan Inscriptions Database

The ETP database provides text, bibliographic references, and commentary on epigraphic and linguistic features. To view an individual inscription type in the ETP number and click the 'search' button. To see a list of all inscriptions in order, click on the 'View All' button in the menu. To investigate other aspects of the database use the search features provided in the search box.

The edition of the texts published here is based on the edition published in the rivista di epigrafia etrusca (REE) in Studi Etruschi wherever possible. Inscriptions that have not appeared in REE are cited according to the most accurate edition.

The database includes an index of all of the word-forms in the texts. The index is arranged according to the order of the letters in Etruscan abecedaria. To view the word-forms click on the 'Browse the index' link.
